Ragi vermicelli is a healthier version of vermicelli. Made from ground whole Ragi seeds, Ragi is an excellent source of iron, fiber, protein and calcium. Ragi is delicious for breakfast (much of India makes a popular dish called Upma, a hearty dish usually consumed for breakfast) or with dinner. It can be prepared for both spicy and sweet dishes.
